Designed for use with vertically guided or spirally guided floating digester and gas storage/holder covers, the 2592 Series Cover Position Indicator Gaugehead Type continuously monitor the position of floating covers.
How It Works
The gauge head is conveniently mounted to the digester wall, at eye-level, to provide a local read-out of your cover position. It uses a spring motor to provide a constant tension to a cable that is connected directly to the digester cover. The motor automatically compensates for variations in the weight of the cable at different cover levels. As the cover moves, the cable rotates a mechanism in the gauge head to show cover position. Remote signals are available with transmitters, and limit switches can be added to control alarms or other equipment.
Design Features
- Simplified overall maintenance
- Improved accuracy in read-outs
Designed to mount directly to the 2592 Series Cover Position Indicators Gaugehead Type, the 8200 Series Current Output Transmitter is a precision analogue instrument that signals liquid levels.
How It Works
The 8200 Series provide a signal which varies in direct proportion to the liquid level to supply an increase in current output with a rising level. It can also be manufactured with a reverse “outage” reading output. Available in nine different factories calibrated level range reference dials (fractional or metric) with an adjustment of 50-100 percent of the specified range.
Design Features
- Two wire, industry standard 4-20 or 10-50 mA output
- 115 or 230 VAC on-board power supply available
- 0.25 percent accuracy over full range
- FM approved Class I Division 1, Groups C & D

Designed to provide additional protection to Varec Biogas safety equipment installed outdoors in cold weather.
How It Works
The insulating jacket is fastened and removed using a combination of Velcro and cinch belts, allowing for an easy access. By installing the tailor-made jacket on your safety equipment, you prevent saturated vapours from freezing. Enabling the primary safety function of the equipment while improving the overall plant operation. It is constructed with a silicone impregnated woven glass cloth lining with a 1” thick, 6 lb density fibre glass insulating material.
Design Features
- Uniform heat retention
- Temperatures up to 260° C (500° F) standard
- Little or no maintenance
